From the moment you walk through the doors of our purpose-built Westleigh child care centre, you’ll be immersed in a world where children are encouraged to learn and explore. Our adventure-filled playgrounds feature sandpits, natural gardens, herb gardens, cubby houses, climbing forts, soccer post and play equipment to engage all the senses. Children are provided the time and space for uninterrupted play as they explore the outdoors to test their limits and develop strength, balance, and self-confidence. Being outside supports children’s overall health and wellbeing.

Our indoor spaces invite exploration with quality resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as architects, storytellers, scientists, artists, and designers.

Healthy meals freshly prepared in-centre

Here at our Westleigh child care centre, you don't need to worry about preparing lunch or snacks. Nutritious meals are made daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements and food preferences, including Halal. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences, and model healthy eating practices.

High-quality early learning programs

Every day presents a new opportunity for learning experiences at our Westleigh early education centre. For an additional fee your child can have access to engaging specialised programs, including a computer gym program, sports and music and movement program. We offer an active and exciting preschool program with qualified Early Childhood Teachers, the convenience of meals and extended hours to fit in with your busy days. Our preschool program is the perfect way to support your child’s school readiness in an engaging way.

Educators and children venture out into the local community on excursions to nearby parks, shops, and schools. We welcome special guests and community members to the center based on the children's interests. We organise incursions from dentists, frontline service workers like firemen, doctors, Aboriginal and Indigenous Elders to share their history and culture with the children. In addition, we also have excursions for the children in the nearby community to the shops, parks, nature walk and library visits.

Our centre also celebrates regular cultural events reflecting the diversity in our local community. We host Christmas parties, Diwali celebrations, Chinese New Year, Cultural Weeks, Halloween celebrations and similar.
